New things

The ever changing Pelco (where I work) has now started installing what is called "access control" to all the doors leading into our building, (building 7) as well as building 6. In order to get into the building, we have to have a badge that we hold up to the sensor, and it will buzz open the door. Why they are now choosing to do this, I have no idea. Security reasons I'm sure...we are, after all, a security company! But why only building 6 & 7? I wonder if the other buildings will be getting the access control? What's funny is, we used to sell Access Control products, and right when they started installing them, we have now discountinued selling them and another company sells them now. So we had to take a new picture and everything, for our new badges. I must admit...mine didn't come out too shabby! Here is the before and after badges. Tell me what you think!

Here is my old badge....you can see the stripe going across it when I used to have to clock in :) I've had this officially 2 years.

Ooh...speaking of New things...I finally upgraded my phone after 2 years. I got a blackberry pearl!! I must tell you how much I love this phone! I can go online, myspace it during work...jk. But If I'm in bed and can't sleep, I'll just surf the net for a few min. Its great! I love this phone!!
